The August plan stopped working. Make it to the break.
Count the school days left before your break. Decide what to keep, what to lighten and what to pause until after the break. Then print a plan short enough to follow.
Free. No sign-up. Everything stays in your browser.
Welcome back.
When does your break start?
Pick the last day of school before the break.
Which days do you do school?
Who's this plan for?
Each child gets their own plan. A first name or a nickname is fine.
Your subjects
For each one, pick what happens until the break. The page shows about how far each one gets.
- Keep: every school day, as planned.
- Lighten: fewer days a week, or a lighter version.
- Pause: it waits until after the break.
pausing isn't quitting. it's a bookmark.
The hard-day list
The days you'll want it most are the days nobody slept or everyone's sick. Check "On a hard day, still do this" on a subject or two above. It prints on the plan, and as a card for the fridge.
On a hard day, we still do:
Use it with the Weekly Planning Assistant
- Tap Copy for my assistant.
- Open the chat where your assistant is set up.
- Paste it and send. Then ask for next week's plan like you usually do.
Don't have it yet? Get the Weekly Planning Assistant. It's free.
Your plan is saved in this browser only, and nothing is sent to us. "About" means just that: a lesson a day on each school day you picked, or the days a week you chose.
This browser isn't saving your plan. Print it before you close this page.
How it works
No account needed. It runs right on this page.
Made by a homeschool mom, not a big app
Homeschool With Margin isn't a big app or a company with a sales team. It's one mom: me. I build the tools and write the guides myself.
I was homeschooled from kindergarten through 12th grade, I homeschool my own two kids now, and I've spent 15 years in web and tech.
Tell me what's missing
This tool is new. If your family needs something it doesn't do to get to the break, tell me.
Real feedback from real moms is how it gets better.
Has it helped?
A few sentences about how it went helps another mom decide if it's worth trying.

Now plan next week in five minutes.
The Weekly Planning Assistant plans each week from where each child stopped. Tell it what you're keeping, lightening and pausing, and it plans around that.
Timed on a family with two children. A bigger family takes a little longer the first time.
