I always said I would never homeschool my kids.

Hi, I'm Brandy. I was a homeschooled kid myself. Here's what changed my mind, and how it turned into Homeschool With Margin.

Seat one: the student.

I was homeschooled from K5 through 12th grade.

What I remember most is how much free time we had in our day. And every Friday, my mom made sure we were out doing activities.

Next: what came after

Then college, a degree, and a career.

I started a business and was all about building my career.

Homeschooling my own kids was not the plan.

The short version
K5
Started school at home.
12th grade
Graduated from homeschool.
College
Earned a bachelor's degree.
Career
Started my own business.
Homeschooling held up fine, for the record.

Seat two: the teacher.

Then my own kids needed something different.

We didn't want public school, and private school didn't fit. So now we teach our boys at our own table: 4th grade and 1st grade. My husband is a stay-at-home dad, and we school them together.

Next: seat three

Seat three: the builder.

I've spent 15 years in web and tech.

I work full time in my web development company, so I build websites for a living.

What I noticed from this seat Homeschoolers rarely get tools built for us. Classroom software that sort of fits doesn't count.

Next: where it led

All three seats led here.

Homeschool With Margin is plain-English tech and AI for homeschool moms.

It isn't a big app or a company with a sales team. It's one mom: me. I build every tool myself, and every family is welcome here, whatever you teach and however you teach it.

Time back

Every tool here is built to save you hours.

Plain English

No jargon and nothing assumed.

You stay the teacher

The tools handle the busywork. They're for you, not your kids.

One last thing

Everything I share here, I use in my own homeschool first.

If it doesn't save time, it doesn't make the cut.
